Dan Grove/Kevin Moore — Kevin works as a Product Manager for Dart at Google Seattle.

Dan has worked on the Dart project since its inception, and has been at Google Seattle since 2007. Prior to Dart, Dan built virtual machines, compilers, and chips at a variety of Silicon Valley startups. Dan holds a Master's from Rice University.

We designed Dart from the ground up to be a system that could run in a wide variety of environments - from mobile devices to browsers to servers.

In this talk, we'll discuss how the Dart language, libraries and runtime systems were designed to be useful across modern computing environments. We'll also be discussing further plans for Dart.
